KRISTIN O'HEARN

Dressage

Successful FEI Level dressage competitor and USDF Bronze & Silver medalist, Kristin has extensive experience coaching & training riders of all levels and  backgrounds. She develops thinking riders, through continually focused work on  balanced positions, rider feel and timing. Kristin loves helping riders achieve  their goals whether that is a more comfortable and balanced equine partner or  competitive show results. Theoretical and biomechanical aspects of dressage  training are a special area of interest and she continues to further her education  with notable international caliber trainers. Her passion to continue developing her  riding with the latest training techniques and coaching not only keeps things fresh  and inspired, it furthers her innate ability to bring creative, collaborative thinking  to regular training challenges. This translates readily into confidence and  success amongst her clients and their equine partners. Kristin has enjoyed  helping clients to regional championships and national qualifications, as well as  facilitating training and showing experiences for clients on the competitive  Southern California circuits.

Additionally, Kristin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science from Colorado  State University and enjoys using that specialized education to consult with horse  owners and professionals on purchases and sales, nutrition, management and  progression goals.

KAREN O'NEAL

Eventing

With well over 100 first-place victories in national and international Eventing and Show Jumping competitions, Karen O’Neal is a widely recognized competitor and USEA ICP  Level-III Certified equestrian instructor and coach in the Eventing community; the Triathlon of Olympic Equestrian sports including Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country Jumping.

In addition to her versatility in coaching and competing within diverse disciplines,  Karen has owned and operated equestrian facilities, becoming intimately familiar with a wide variety equestrian domains including veterinary medicine, horse evaluation, and equine nutrition.  Though she has an unending fascination with all aspects of the sport, she has found that her true passion is training her students to achieve their highest level of potential.  Karen no longer manages an equestrian facility with the simple goal of concentrating on her students and competitions.   With an emphasis on teaching horsemanship fundamentals, combined with a foundation in responsibility, commitment, and respect of the sport, Karen teaches with a tremendous sense of purpose, which will pay dividends to equestrian sports for years to come.​

KIRI SMITH

Hunter & Jumpers

Kiri Farler-Smith offers a professional training program in the sport of Hunters and Show Jumping called JumpStart Training. Tailored to the individual goals of each unique horse and rider, she is committed to the highest quality of care, training, instruction, and support. It is a “Hunter/Jumper” program, but the focus will always be on safe and correct riding and horsemanship whether jumping or not. Thus, a person that doesn’t want to jump will still find a home in our program. JumpStart Training believes in the importance of exceptional horsemanship and ground work, along with the benefits of cross-training in other disciplines such as Dressage and Eventing. Lessons and competitive opportunities are available for those who are interested. Kiri and JumpStart Training is a USHJA Recognized Riding Academy, Time To Ride Program, and certified by the American Riding Instructors Association. Kiri has quality lesson horses available for lease.

KELSEY DEVOILLE STONE

Eventing

Kelsey Devoille is a 3-day eventing coach and has competed through the Intermediate and CCI2* level. She also has her A rating in the United States Pony Club and has been a pony club examiner. In addition to coaching eventing, she also enjoys working with riders who focus solely on dressage and/or show jumping. She has been a working student for Olympic level dressage coach Dietrich Von Hopfgarten and her training has been influenced by Amy Tryon and Captain Mark Phillips.

In addition to training, Kelsey also owns Unbridled Counseling. Unbridled Counseling offers traditional talk therapy and equine assisted therapy in Redmond, WA. Visit Unbridled Counseling's website for more information.
